Welcome to Shay RV Park! We strive to provide a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all our guests. Please read and abide by all rules during your stay.
Check-In / Check-Out
· Check-In: 1:00 PM
Check-Out: 11:00 AM
Refunds
· No refund on cancellations less than 24 hours from reservation.
Quiet Hours
· Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM daily.
· Please be respectful of your neighbors at all times.
Speed Limit
· 5 MPH throughout the park. Watch for children and pets.
· Keep golf carts on gravel roads only.
Site Occupancy
· One RV and up to 2 vehicles per site.
· 1 golf cart is permitted per site.
· 1 tent is allowed per site.
· No storage of appliances, excessive clutter, or makeshift structures, as determined by management.
Visitors
· All visitors or guests must be registered. (Register online)
· Day visitors are allowed from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
RV Condition
· All RVs must be well-maintained and self-contained. (Working A/C, electrical, and plumbing)
· Campers must be kept clean in appearance.
· No window A/C units.
· No tarps or plywood on camper.
· RVs older than 15 years require photos to be sent to management. Please Email photos to jason@shayrvpark.com (For long term guests)
Skirting and Decks (long term guests)
*please contact management to submit plans for decks, and skirting.
Sewer Connections
· Sewer hoses must be connected using a tight-fitting, leak-free connector.
· A proper sewer donut or collar is required to seal the connection.
Electrical
· RVs must be equipped with a functional electrical system.
· Tampering with electrical boxes or using splitters is prohibited.
· No generators
Water Usage
· No vehicle or RV washing with park water.
· Notify management of any leaks or plumbing issues immediately.
When Temps drop below 32 degrees, you must turn off water to your RV.
Pet Policy
· Pets must be leashed at all times.
· Guests must clean up pet waste immediately.
· Aggressive pets are not allowed.
· Limit 2 pets per site unless approved.
· Pets may not be left unattended outside or in vehicles.
· Pets must have all vaccinations. (Management reserves the right to see vaccination records)
Wildlife and Wilderness
· Please be mindful of the wildlife at Shay, there may be deer, foxes, coyotes, owls, etc. from neighboring woods.
· Do not harm any wildlife.
No trees, bushes, or plants, to be cut, removed, or defaced in any way.
Campfires
· Allowed only in designated fire rings or pits.
· Fires must be attended at all times and fully extinguished before leaving.
· No burning of trash or construction debris.
· Do not cut any live trees or branches.
· Only wood and branches collected on the ground may be used in campfires.
· No burning of any kind during Marshall County burn bans. This includes any outdoor cooking.
Grilling
· Propane and charcoal grills are allowed.
· Do not place grills directly on picnic tables or grassy areas.
Garbage
· Bag and dispose of trash in the designated dumpster.
· No bulk items in the dumpster. SORD has a trash transfer site at 12978 Hwy 70f.
· Do not leave trash or food outside overnight.
Site Cleanliness
· Your site must be clean and orderly at all times.
· No permanent clotheslines, do NOT attach to trees.
Alcohol and Drugs
· Alcohol is permitted at your site. Unruly behavior or public intoxication is prohibited.
· Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate eviction.
Firearms and Fireworks
· We support the 2nd amendment. We don’t support the discharge of firearms, fireworks, or explosives on our property.
· Absolutely NO hunting.
· Absolutely NO target practice or shooting.
Behavior
· Disorderly conduct, and harassment are not tolerated.
· Guests must be respectful to fellow guests and staff at all times.
*Breaking any of these rules will immediately be reported to the police.
Children
· Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Monthly Rent
· Rent is due each month from the date you check in.
(Ex. Check in July 7th, next rent due August 7th)
· $25 Fee added per day for late payments after 3 days.
· Rent late after 7 days will result in removal from the property.
Background/Credit Check
· Management reserves the right to require background and credit checks for long-term guests.
Site Modifications
· Sheds allowed. 100 sq. ft. max(10x10,8x8,12x8)
· Small fences may be permitted, upon approval.
· We do encourage making your site feel like home.
*Please contact management before making any site modifications/improvements.
· Shay RV Park reserves the right to refuse service or evict any guest not complying with park rules.
· No refunds will be issued for rule violations, evictions, or early departures.
